Now Hiring: Medical Assistant – Primary Care – Carrollton Area

Full-Time | Competitive Pay | 11 Months Contract

High Chances of Securing a Permanent Placement after Contract ends

Location: Carrolton, TX 75010

• Scheduled: 40hours per week (5 Days, M-F)
• Shift: 8 hours in Day. 8am-5pm

Hourly compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 Per hour.

Job Summary:

• Accurately completes and maintains medical records and documentation.
• Maintains exam rooms and pod areas. Prepares, stocks, and clean rooms.
• Draw labs on pediatric and adult patients. Processing labs, lab draws with all needles.
• Schedule appts and phone call reminders. Take vitals, give injections, take blood pressure.
• Schedules and informs patients regarding procedures.
• Collects and handles specimens/ cultures following established policies and procedures.
• Prepares patients for procedures and assists providers.
• Knowledgeable and able to perform procedures requiring clean and/or sterile technique.
• Follows sterile instrument processing protocol.
• Completes patient referrals.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided in the EMR/EHR system.

Qualification:

• Medical Assistant Certificate or Phlebotomy Certification
• BLS from AHA
• Medical office experience or fast paced environment experience preferred
