Healthcare Support is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Midlothian, Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements

• Orientation: July 6th start preferred
• Unit: Labor & Delivery
• Shift Requests: Not able to accommodate specific shift or schedule requests
• Dysrhythmia Exam: NOT required
• Local Travelers: No local travelers (within 50 mile radius)
• EMR Systems: Experience with EPIC and Perinatal Centricity (QS) preferred

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience, including:
  • Antepartum
  • Intrapartum
  • Cesarean section
  • Postpartum
  • Magnesium sulfate administration
• Prefer candidates with at least 3 years of experience who are C-EFM certified
• Hospital experience required
• Ability to scrub/assist in deliveries preferred
• Circulate c-sections required

Required Skills

• Fetal heart monitoring

• Cardiac monitoring
• Warmer
• Blood glucose monitoring

Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - Required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - Required
• FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring) - Preferred

Schedule Details

• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend/major holiday required
• On Call: Up to 24 hours per 6 weeks
