Are you ready to serve and protect your community with integrity and pride? The Pageland Police Department is currently hiring Certified Police Officers or candidates who meet the requirements to attend the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Respond to calls for service and emergency situations
- Conduct routine patrols and traffic enforcement
- Initiate and conduct criminal investigations
- Complete accurate and timely reports
- Engage positively with the community and uphold department values
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must reside in South Carolina
- Must have a valid South Carolina driver’s license
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass:
- Background investigation
- Physical exam
- Drug screening
- Psychological evaluation
- Reading comprehension test
- Credit check
- Physical Ability Test (PAT): Must be completed in 2 minutes and 6 seconds or less, per academy standards
