Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Speech Language Pathologist based in Erie County, NY, with a mix of on-site services and some work-from-home responsibilities for documentation, telepractice sessions when appropriate, and collaboration. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders, and developing individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings. The Speech Language Pathologist will complete accurate and timely documentation, participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, and maintain regular communication with families, caregivers, and referring providers. The role also involves monitoring progress, adjusting interventions as needed, providing home practice recommendations, and adhering to professional and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

- Ability to provide comprehensive Speech Therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and intervention.
- Strong skills in addressing Speech and Communication Disorders across a range of ages and abilities.
- Competence in evaluating and treating Language Disorders, including expressive and receptive language needs.
- Experience managing Dysphagia, including swallowing evaluations and treatment, following evidence-based practices.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in New York.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or working toward completion preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, documentation, and time-management skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with pediatric and/or adult populations in clinic, school, or home-based settings is beneficial.
