Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity seeks experienced Special Education Teachers to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Cheraw, SC. Positions available include a full-time role focused on middle school students (6th-8th grade) with mild to moderate needs, as well as a long-term substitute for early elementary grades (1st-3rd) with a small group of 7-10 students.
Responsibilities include delivering specialized instruction in a self-contained classroom environment, adapting curriculum to meet individual learning goals, and collaborating with staff to develop and implement effective strategies that support student success. Candidates will be committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience with mild to moderate disabilities in K-12 settings
- Ability to manage self-contained classrooms independently

- Flexibility to work with multiple grade levels (positions vary)

Position details:
- Position 1: Full-time, middle school grades (6th-8th), mild to moderate, self-contained classroom, immediate start through end of school year
- Position 2: Long-term substitute, early elementary grades (1st-3rd), self-contained small group classroom (7-10 students), covering teacher on medical leave
