Busy audiology practice is seeking a experienced, reliable, and enthusiastic full time patient Patient Care Coordinator to travel between both of our DC locations listed above. This is not an entry level position.

Must have at least 5 years experience in a medical office setting. Must be experienced in Microsoft Word and Excel, have excellent phone skills, like working with the public, and be a team player.

Hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday

Training for the position will be done in our Annapolis MD location for 3 - 4 weeks. Must be able to travel for training.

Job description:

Bright energetic patient care coordinator with excellent people skills, phone skills, and computer skills needed for a busy office. Must have at least 5 years experience in a medical office setting.

Responsibilities:

- High level administrative assistant duties

- Coordinate day to day activities of the office

- Verify patient health insurance benefits

- Provide for the smooth flow of patients through the practice, including ensuring appropriate follow-up

- Scheduling

- Digitizing paperwork

- Offer friendly, courteous assistance to every patient to ensure a positive, professional experience

- General office duties

Requirements:

- Independent, motivated, self-starter

- Understand health insurance

- Possess a friendly, positive and professional attitude

- Demonstrate interpersonal skills to service a diverse customer base

- Strong knowledge of computers

- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

- Ability to troubleshoot office equipment

- Ability to work independently

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize

Salary: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
