Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse
Location: Johnson City, NY 13790
Schedule: Days, (5x8 = 40 Hours/Week)
Duration: 13-week assignment with possible extension
Traveler's Pay Range: $2,500 - $2,817/Week
Local's Pay Range: $60 - $65/Hour
Job Description:
- Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management using available resources.
- Administer medications safely and accurately in compliance with UHS policies and pharmacology standards.
- Support productivity through effective time, staffing, and resource management while maintaining quality care.
- Adhere to nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies while promoting patient rights.
- Participate in shared governance, peer review, and unit initiatives while integrating research into practice.
- Foster professional growth, support learning for staff and students, and uphold UHS values in all care settings.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3 years current ED experience as previous traveler, experience with knowledge in trauma, stemi, stroke, sepsis and peds care Epic experience preferred.
Required Education:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Current NYS RN License.
- BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross).
