Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide critical care in a fast-paced emergency room environment as a registered nurse specializing in ER nursing. This opportunity offers a contract position located in the Lakeville, MN area, requiring dedication to delivering exceptional emergency patient care with a supportive team.
Key responsibilities include managing patient assessments, coordinating emergency interventions, and collaborating with medical staff to stabilize patients. You will be expected to float within the ER as needed and provide care during weekends and holidays upon request.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting
- Current Minnesota RN license (non-compact state) or valid MN temp license aligned with contract duration
- Certifications required: NIHSS, BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), PALS, and TNCC
- Ability to work 12-hour day or evening shifts, totaling approximately 36 hours per week
- Flexibility to float within ER units and work weekends and holidays as needed
Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts: 3:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
- Approximately 36 hours per week
- On-call not required
This contract offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment focused on emergency care excellence. The role requires availability with a return-to-office period of 7 days or less.
