Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, supporting the well-being and academic success of students across the K-12 spectrum. Located near Sunnyvale, CA, this full-time, onsite role begins August 10, 2026 and extends through June 10, 2027, with potential for renewal based on need. You’ll split your time supporting students in a welcoming district environment, including collaboration with the team at Mt. Pleasant. While bilingual abilities are a plus, a commitment to supporting a diverse student body is most important.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state credential or eligibility to obtain appropriate certification
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and counseling skills
- Bilingual preferred, but not required
- Excellent collaboration, organization, and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments for students across all grade levels
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to develop effective support strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for individualized education plans
- Deliver direct counseling and intervention services to students
- Support crisis intervention and behavioral management when needed
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment for all students
