Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An educational setting in McMinnville, OR is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist to provide consultative support to approximately 10-14 K-12 students. This contract position offers an opportunity to work one day per week from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY).
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering physical therapy services under a consultative model to support student needs
- Collaborating with educators and other school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapeutic strategies as necessary
- Maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with school protocols
Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license or certification with healthcare and school-based experience
- Understanding of pediatric therapy needs within a K-12 educational environment
- Ability to implement consultative approaches and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong munication and organizational skills
