Job Description:
The Woodshop Lead will be responsible for putting together all wood frames into canvas for the production floor base on the stock specifications. [Gb4, SB6, F1, F2, F3, F6 & F7, F8]

Job Duties:
• Cutting wood sticks into proper sizes
• Inventory: count and keep track of inventory, notify management of any shortage of inventory
• Assembly: Assembling frame backs for Canvas Prints
• Accurately measure lengths of wood & cut to correct length
• Operate a wall saw or table saw
• Fitting wood pieces together to start the frame process using the Joiner Machine
• Operate a variety of hand tools; nail gun, blades, hammer and tweezers,
• Polyurethane the finished frame
• Ensure wood isn’t warped cracked or swollen; completing all stages of the woodworking process.
• Perform work to meet production standards, schedules and deadlines
• Assist in new equipment installations
• Assist in training of new employees
• Keep Supervisor informed of any concerns or issues that would compromise quality, schedules or safety
• Keep all work area/workstation in compliance with our housekeeping guidelines.
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
• Any other duties as assigned
• Wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Lifting 20lbs. maximum and frequently lifting or carrying objects up to 10bls.
• May be required to stand for long periods of time
• Regularly perform repetitive motions tasks
• May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail.
• Computer and internet literacy
• Ability to focus on tasks at hand.
• Know how to use a tape measure
