Job Description 2026 Summer Programs Intern We are seeking a motivated Summer Programs Intern to assist with game day operations, player communication, and social media efforts for our two (2) summer teams, men’s and women’s. This hands-on role provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in sports management, event coordination, and team operations. What you’ll do: Game Day & Operations Support
- Assist with game day logistics including setup, equipment management, & on-site coordination.
- Provide matchday information to opponents and assist with player registration.
- Organize site setup for training sessions and games.
- Support sports registrar duties, scheduling, and rostering.
- Manage inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment, supplies, and uniforms.
Player Communication & Scheduling
- Maintain communication with players via Squadi, WhatsApp, and other team platforms.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating sessions, pickup games, and performance training.
- Communicate with other teams within the league and conference to coordinate logistics.
Social Media & Marketing
- Assist with content creation and engagement on social media platforms.
- Help raise awareness of the programs through digital outreach and updates.
- Conduct research and contribute to promotional efforts for events.
Requirements:
- Availability to work multiple nights and weekends, throughout the Summer.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record and access to your own vehicle.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced sports environment.
- Passion for soccer, event coordination, and/or sports management is a plus.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
