Summary: As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for preparing components for the molding process, operating a molding press on our epoxy molding production line, and ensuring the highest level of quality in all parts produced.
Essential Functions
- Maintain accurate production paperwork (work orders)
- Enter information into the computer system
- Prepare components for the molding process
- Inspect components prior to molding
- Load multiple components into the mold
- Start and monitor the molding cycle
- Unload parts from the mold upon completion
- Inspect, de-flash, and patch molded parts
- Pack and label completed parts
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Prior production experience is a plus
- Basic computer skills required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times a day
- Ability to stand for the majority of the shift
- Proficiency in operating small handheld tools
- Ability to visually inspect machined parts and gauge them using various handheld gauges
- Capability to perform manual work in a non-climate-controlled factory setting
- Availability for overtime hours, including mandatory Saturday shifts
- Must be at least 18 years old
Shift Details
1st Shift is M-TH, 4X10 hour shifts, 6:30a-5:00p.
All employees are expected to work overtime hours as needed.Overtime is typically twice a month on Fridays and are 8-hour shifts.
