Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An immediate opening is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support at two elementary schools for the 2023-2024 school year. This contract position will cover a maternity leave and requires onsite presence in Lewisville, TX.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering individualized speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-5.
  • Managing a caseload of approximately 48 students across two campuses: one with 40 students and a second with 8 students.
  • Attending to therapy needs at both campuses, including two half days at an additional school site.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student communication development.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district guidelines.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred.
  • Active state licensure in speech-language pathology.
  • Experience or willingness to work within a school setting serving elementary-aged children.
  • For Clinical Fellows (CFs), arrangements for supervision must be in place prior to start date, as the district cannot provide supervision.

This position is full-time (40 hours per week) and requires onsite work at specified school locations within Lewisville. Candidates must be prepared to coordinate travel between campuses and map their commuting plan accordingly.

If you hold an active state license and have the qualifications to perform in this role, consider this opportunity to provide impactful services in a diverse elementary school environment. Apply now to contribute to student success through effective speech-language support.
