Are you a seasoned accounting professional looking to join a great team in the non-profit industry? Do you have at least five years of accounting experience supporting a controller with month-end, payroll, and analysis? We are looking for a Senior accounting professional for a direct hire job opportunity in San Jose, CA. Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Support month-end and year-end close, ensuring deadlines and reporting standards are met.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper recording of financial transactions.
- Assist with audits by preparing documentation and supporting internal controls.
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance accounting processes and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Hands-on payroll processing experience required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control principles.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with multiple stakeholders.

Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
