Your Impact
As Membership Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in attracting new members, retaining existing ones, and ensuring every visit to the YMCA Treasure Coast is a memorable one. From crafting engaging promotions to leading a dedicated team at our Front Desk and Child Watch, you’ll create a welcoming environment where everyone feels like they belong.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
· Plan and launch innovative membership campaigns that captivate and convert.
· Lead, inspire, and develop a talented team focused on member satisfaction.
· Connect with the community, attend local events, and champion the YMCA’s mission.
· Leverage data and market insights to fine-tune our approach and stay ahead of trends.
· Collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless and engaging experiences.
· Support the YMCA’s Annual Campaign, contributing to our broader mission of strengthening communities.
· Lead by example in providing top-notch customer service and creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
What We’re Looking For
· A Bachelor’s degree, ideally in sales, business, marketing, or a related field.
· 2+ years of sales experience, or a proven combination of skills and experience.
· A natural leader with excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment.
· A positive, energetic attitude that inspires those around you.
· A true believer in the YMCA’s core values: caring, respect, honesty, and responsibility.
Physical Requirements:
This role keeps you moving and engaged – from connecting with members at the Welcome Center to pitching in during events. You’ll need to be comfortable lifting up to 40 pounds and staying active throughout the day.
