We’re seeking a Service Manager to lead our HVAC service department, manage a skilled team of technicians, and ensure smooth, efficient, and customer-focused operations.

Position Overview


The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the HVAC service department. This includes managing technicians, maintaining service excellence, ensuring timely project completion, and driving department performance—all while keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the HVAC service department.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support service technicians to deliver high-quality work.
  • Ensure all service jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to customer standards.
  • Track departmental performance metrics (KPIs) and customer satisfaction levels.
  • Monitor and manage departmental budgets, labor costs, and material usage.
  • Dispatch and schedule technicians to maximize coverage and minimize response times.
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve service-related issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and internal policies.
  • Coordinate closely with sales, project management, and other departments for a seamless customer experience.
  • Recruit, train, and develop service technicians to ensure continued skill growth and performance.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5–7 years of experience in HVAC service management or a related leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of HVAC systems, service operations, and industry best practices.
  • Proficient in-service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel as needed.
