Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
This is a dynamic opportunity for specialists to provide essential speech services in a K-12 educational setting located in Aurora, CO. This contract position spans the school year, allowing professionals to make a significant impact on students' communication needs from August 2025 to May 2026.
Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado speech-language pathology license.
- Certified Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision experience is a plus.
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development.
- Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development.
- Provide direct therapy services and maintain accurate records of sessions.
