Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited Speech Pathology program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC/SLP) or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Florida
- Strong interpersonal, administrative, and communication skills
- Knowledge of speech therapy principles, methods, and patient safety procedures
- Emotional stability and professional integrity in patient care
- Knowledge of Medicare and third-party reimbursement preferred
- Experience in dysphagia assessment and treatment is a plus
- Familiarity with Net Health preferred
What you'll do
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy programs in collaboration with the care team.
- Educate patients and families on treatment goals and progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and facility standards.
- Foster a collaborative, patient-centered environment that encourages recovery and communication success.
