Program Details
This is a full-time, day-shift position in our 22-bed Intermediate Care Unit. Here’s what you can expect:
- Program Start Date: December 15th, 2025
- Winter Cohort Commitment: A 5-week session with 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 to 40 hours per week.
- Follow your preceptor’s schedule, including rotating weekend shifts.
What You’ll Gain

- Be supported by a nursing professional development specialist to ensure your learning needs are met.
Important Considerations
Before applying, please note:
- This role requires a full-time commitment of three 12-hour shifts each week during the 5-week winter cohort.
- No self-scheduling will be allowed; you will follow your assigned preceptor’s schedule.
- Specific dates off may be requested, but time off during the first week or any scheduled educational session will not be approved.
Post-Cohort Opportunities
Once classes resume in the spring, you may be invited to continue with a flexible per diem schedule of just 16 hours bi-weekly, with a maximum of 12 hours each week.
Compensation
Pay: $20.12 per hour
Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Active enrollment in an accredited RN program, graduating in May/August/December 2026.
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification by the Maryland Board of Nursing is required.
- BLS (CPR for Healthcare Providers) certification.
