Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts, typically 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
\n• For early morning cases (7:00 AM start), may need to clock in at 5:45 AM and out at 2:15 PM
\n• On-call responsibilities from home with 30-minute response time required
\n• Weekday call coverage from 3:00 PM until next day
\n• Weekend call coverage Saturday and Sunday 24 hours each day, approximately once per month
\n• Call duties split between 4 team members
\n• Schedules created 6 weeks in advance
\n• Must have CVOR experience with open heart procedures preferred
\n• 2 years of experience required
\n• Travel experience required
\n• BLS certification required
\n• Valid PA license or compact license required
\n• Must complete fingerprinting within 24-48 hours of signing
\n• Must complete drug screening and lab work within 24-48 hours of signing
\n• 8-hour orientation provided
\n• When not in CVOR cases, expected to assist with general, gynecological, orthopedic, vascular, robotic, and cystoscopy procedures
\n• Additional duties include picking cases, stocking rooms, and providing breaks and lunches
\n• May be required to float to sister facilities within 10-mile radius as needed
\n• Work with patients of all age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
\n• Cerner charting system experience preferred

The facility offers state-of-the-art cardiovascular surgery capabilities including open heart procedures, robotic surgery, and hybrid operating room technology. The surgical team is supported by extensive interdisciplinary services including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams to ensure optimal patient care and surgical outcomes.
