General Summary
The Salesforce Data Integration Administrator supports Salesforce integration and data improvement projects for the Global Sales, Mkt, Supplier Dev, & Ops, Business Applications team. Designs, develops, and deploys integrations between Salesforce and ERP and other business systems focusing on process improvements and data integrity as defined by the business owner.
Responsibilities
- Ensures successful execution and alignment of Salesforce implementation activities to meet business objectives.
- Administers and configures integration and process automation solutions for the Salesforce platform using technical expertise.
- Works closely with end-users to understand goals and business processes for integration across multiple systems.
- Optimizes system integrations based upon business requirements and data structures.
- Works closely with development teams to design test plans and validates solution functionality/performance.
- Provides user support and guidance to ensure successful adoption and utilization of Salesforce solutions.
- Works with architects, developers, managers, and service providers to support system configuration, interfaces, customizations, and reports.
- Troubleshoots, debugs and upgrades software, as needed.
- Writes detailed technical documentation including user guides and system configuration specifications.
- Stays abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in Salesforce and public sector domains to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.
- Assists with selected projects, as needed.
- Demonstrates ownership, initiative, and keen sense of urgency as part of a fast-paced project implementation environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 years’ experience in supporting and documenting data integration feeds preferred
- Experience in using MuleSoft for automation and workflows preferred
- Familiarity with Salesforce Clouds or similar CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools that use formula-based personalization.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce Flow and Process Builder tools for automation and workflows preferred.
- Knowledge of Epicor ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) desired.
- Critical thinking and planning skills to craft and implement integration plans.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to build strong and successful relationships, effectively supporting and influencing colleagues, partners, suppliers, customers, and members of the global team.
- Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities, with a passion for motivating and developing junior team members.
- Flexibility to manage multiple tasks efficiently while under time constraints.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office.
