Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist for a K-12 school setting in Carlisle, PA. This contract position offers the opportunity to support students' developmental and therapeutic needs across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with diverse abilities
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and ply with educational and therapeutic regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) planning
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience providing OT services in a school environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric OT interventions and educational standards
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students and staff
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet a range of developmental levels and classroom settings
