Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Transplant ICU position in a fast-paced, Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center requiring Oklahoma or compact RN licensure.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Neuro Transplant ICU within a hospital setting
- Patient population includes neuro and transplant critical care cases
- Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center environment
- Night shift with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
- Assume responsibility for an assigned group of neuro transplant ICU patients
- Assist with examinations, minor diagnostic procedures, and treatments in collaboration with physicians
- Obtain and monitor physiological data, administer prescribed medications, and monitor IV infusions and blood products
- Communicate care plans and hospital procedures to patients and families
- Delegation of appropriate tasks to support staff required
- No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered
- Holiday and weekend shifts are assigned according to hospital policy

- Active OK or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU RN experience required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
