Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Step-Down Unit (SDU) care. This contract position offers the chance to provide critical care to a diverse patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics, managing complex medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgical conditions.

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intermediate Intensive Care Unit.
Coordinate patient care plans and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Monitor patient conditions, interpreting vital signs and responses to treatments.
Maintain high standards of professional nursing practice and adhere to established protocols.
Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Student Nurse Aides (SNA), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), or other healthcare support staff as assigned.

Qualifications:

Current RN license with ICU experience.
Strong clinical skills in critical care nursing, including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring.
Ability to handle fast-paced and demanding environments with professionalism.
Experience caring for varied patient diagnoses in medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgical settings.
Leadership capabilities to guide support staff effectively.
