Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school settings, located in Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC. This position involves working full-time with PreK through 8th-grade students, providing speech therapy services within a K-12 educational environment. The role is contracted for the duration of the assignment and offers an engaging setting to apply clinical expertise to support student communication development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Speech-Language Pathology license in Washington, DC
  • Valid DC Educator Certification
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working with PreK-8 students in school-based settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students with communication delays or disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet educational goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Document treatment progress and outcomes according to district and legal requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating inclusive learning environments

  • Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC serving local school-age children from PreK to 8th grade
