In this role, you will deliver expert nursing care to patients in their residences, guided by a physician's directives. Your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing, documenting, evaluating, and educating patients about their care needs.
Position Overview:
Home Health Registered Nurse (Community-Based)
Opportunities Available in the St. Louis Metro Area and Surrounding Counties
- Full-Time Position (40 hours per week), Day Shift
- Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM, with on-call duties on weekends
- Holiday Rotation - 1 during summer, 1 during winter
- Gas Mileage Reimbursement - $0.70 per mile
- Subject to adjustments based on Federal Reimbursement Rates

Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of one year in a related field is preferred.
- Education: Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Current RN license in Missouri is required. Must possess a valid driver's license and insurance.
- Certifications: BLS CPR Certification from the American Heart Association is necessary.
- Additional Requirements: The home health nurse will manage a diverse caseload of patients with various health conditions. Responsibilities include providing essential patient education, treatment, and emotional support to aid recovery from injuries or illnesses and to manage chronic diseases. Strong assessment skills and technical proficiency are crucial. The role requires the ability to anticipate and respond to changes in patients' clinical conditions. Excellent communication and rapport with patients and their families are essential, as is the ability to liaise effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding home health patients. Accurate documentation and communication concerning medication changes and care plans are vital.
