Weekend Night Shift | Friday – Sunday | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Job Overview

We are hiring a Forklift Operator / Material Handler to support production and shipping operations at a well-established manufacturing facility in Shelbyville, KY. This role plays a critical part in keeping production lines stocked, moving materials throughout the plant, and handling shipping and receiving activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and stage materials for production lines
• Transport formed metal between the roll forming area and secondary/utility areas
• Load finished goods into warehouse storage and onto outbound trucks
• Unload inbound materials and verify shipments
• Deliver materials to work cells and remove completed bundles
• Move racks, empty hoppers, and support overall material flow
• Pack finished products for shipping
• Assist with setup and breakdown of production line materials
• Complete paperwork and documentation for shipping and receiving
• Use RF scanners and computer systems for inventory tracking
• Accurately manage bills of lading and data entry

Required Skills & Experience

• Sit-down forklift experience (required)
• Experience in material handling and loading/unloading equipment
• Shipping and receiving experience
• Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory control systems
• Strong computer and data-entry skills
• Ability to safely operate hand tools
• Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment

• Exposure to hot and cold conditions depending on season
• Clean, organized facility—not overly dirty or unpleasant

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
