Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract opportunity is tailored for a licensed School Psychologist skilled in supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade, including elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12) levels. Located in Boston, MA, this role offers a dynamic environment to contribute valuable psychological services across diverse educational stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop intervention plans and provide guidance.
- Assist in crisis intervention and contribute to creating supportive school environments.
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer recommendations to tailor educational strategies for individual student needs.
- Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to confidentiality standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active State License as a School Psychologist.
- Proven experience working in educational settings with K-12 populations.
- Strong understanding of child development and psychological assessment tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and maintain a high level of professionalism.
Position Details:
- Contract role starting as soon as possible through the end of the school year.
- Work schedule includes 30 hours per week, five days a week.
