Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full-time, contract position serving a K-12 caseload in the Portland area. This role involves supporting students across various grade levels, providing essential speech and language therapy services within a dynamic school environment.
Location:
- On-site position in Beaverton, OR (Portland metro area)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary efforts to support student success
- Adapt therapy strategies to meet diverse student needs within a school setting
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current state-issued license from the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience providing speech therapy services in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and remain organized
