Job Details:

• 8 or 10-hour shift options available
\n• 1:1 patient ratio
\n• No on-call required
\n• No weekends required
\n• No block schedules required
\n• No floating between units
\n• 8 hours of orientation provided
\n• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
\n• Patients include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
\n• Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy
\n• At least 1 year of experience required
\n• Epic charting system experience required
\n• Required certification: BLS
\n• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
\n• Skills required include acute care, orthopedics, neurology, gait training, body mechanics, patient/family education, home exercise program, and experience with post-operative and rehabilitation diagnoses including total hip and knee replacements, spinal conditions, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and post-stroke rehabilitation
\n• Licensed nursing personnel must wear solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire (print tops not acceptable)
\n• Unlicensed personnel must wear solid hunter green colored uniforms or scrub attire
\n• Free parking available in any unrestricted surface parking lots designated for Employee/Visitor Parking
\n• Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
\n• All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during submittal

This short-term acute care facility is a Level II Trauma Center with 379 staffed beds, offering a wide range of medical services to the community. The facility supports interdisciplinary care and is equipped with modern technology, including Epic as its charting system.
