Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized support on a leave of absence basis, serving middle school students in the San Francisco, CA area. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language services tailored to the pediatric school population, ensuring each student receives appropriate interventions to support their communication development.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech Language Pathology (SLP) License
  • Experience working as an SLP within school settings
  • Expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred

Role Details:

  • Location: San Francisco, CA
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: March (contract duration)
  • Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
  • Caseload: Middle school-aged students

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain documentation to comply with school and state requirements
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
