Job DescriptionDescription:

Southern Foodservice Management, a national contract food service company, is looking for an Administrative/HR Clerk for our dining services at the Fort Knox Army Base located in Radcliff, KY 40160.

  • The schedule is Monday - Friday with some weekend availability.
  • The pay rate is $56,000.00 yearly.

Job Summary

  • Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
  • Welcomes and directs visitors and clients.
  • Maintains filing systems as assigned.
  • Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
  • Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
  • Orders and maintains office supplies and uniforms from multiple vendors.
  • Maintains a system for recording expenses and the use of petty cash.
  • Use of Paylocity daily for HR and Payroll, Recruiting, Onboarding, Time & Labor, Learning, Surveys, and other processes.
  • Reviews time clock punches for accuracy and submits weekly and bi-weekly payrolls.
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee payroll queries.
  • Submits job postings, conducts Interviews, hires, and completes onboarding process for all new employees.
  • Coordinate orientation and training sessions for new employees.
  • Completes End of Month accounting procedures (Accounts Receivables and Payables).
  • Submits all vendor invoices in Accounting Express for payment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
  • Ability to work independently.

Education and Experience

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Three to five years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Previous HR experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience using Paylocity is preferred.
