Regional Manager - Expanded Learning (Northern California)

We are seeking a seasoned, strategic leader to serve as our Regional Manager for Northern California, overseeing all operations across six and expanding school districts. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who brings deep knowledge of California's Expanded Learning field, excels in managing teams, and thrives in cultivating strong district relationships.
Location
This is a remote position based in the Sacramento area, with frequent travel to partner districts in the East Bay and San Jose area.
What You'll Do
- Lead the operational success of all Expanded Learning programs in your region, including direct oversight of multiple district contracts and a team of local managers.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality programming aligned with California's Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) and Quality Standards.
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with school district leaders, site administrators, and community stakeholders.
- Provide strategic direction, coaching, and support to your management team, ensuring staff are well-equipped, aligned, and engaged.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on program expansion and strategic initiatives.
- Represent AlphaBEST at conferences, advocacy meetings, and local networks across the Expanded Learning field.
What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in California Expanded Learning-at a regional or senior management level.
- Track record of overseeing managers and large teams across multiple sites or districts.
- Strong understanding of state requirements, funding streams (e.g., ELO-P), and quality frameworks for Expanded Learning.
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to build trust and credibility with district leaders.
- A growth mindset and the desire to expand AlphaBEST's impact across California.
