Job Description
Set up and operate CNC Mills and Grinders to produce a wide variety of aerospace and industrial shaft seals and piston rings. Work with various metals, including titanium and 410-stainless steel, to mill, turn, and bore parts. Follow oral and written instructions, blueprints, sketches, and process sheets while utilizing precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machinery including Mills and Grinders.
- Produce aerospace and industrial shaft seals and piston rings.
- Work with metals like titanium and 410-stainless steel.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and process sheets.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Perform tooling changes, offsets, and conversational edits.
Essential Skills
- 3 years of CNC machining experience.
- Proficiency in CNC setup, operation, and tooling changes.
- Experience with blueprint reading and precision measurement.
- Knowledge of CNC programming and 5-axis machining.
- Familiarity with CMM equipment.

Work Environment
The facility offers a clean, well-lit, and climate-controlled environment. Training is conducted on the 1st shift for approximately 1.5 months before transitioning to the official shift. No cell phones are allowed on the production floor. As part of a union facility, all hourly employees will join the United Steelworkers Union (USW).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $61318.40 - $61318.40/yr.
PAID HOLIDAYS -- 12 holidays per calendar year and 2 personal holidays per Union contract year VACATION – 2 weeks’ of vacation after completing 6-months of employment; vacation resets on 1/1 of each calendar year RETIREMENT/401(K) PLAN – Option to invest your contributions on a Pre-tax or Roth (After-tax) basis. Automatic enrollment at 3% unless you elect differently. Automatic 3% company contribution into your account on a per pay period basis (regardless of your participation, 1 year vesting) HEALTH CARE BENEFITS (effective 1st of month following or coincident with date of hire)
