Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room
Ambulatory Surgery - Operating Room 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM 4 x 10 No Weekend Requirement No Holiday Requirement No On-Call Requirement Float Requirement: Within perioperative services if needed Required Years of Experience: 2 years
Job Summary:
Primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to the care of veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
-This includes, but is not limited to, assuring that appropriate documentation reflects assessment of patient needs, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patients' responses to treatments.
-Also responsible for assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room.

Qualifications:
- Registered Professional Nurse currently registered to practice in New Jersey State.
- ASN - Associate Degree - required
- Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing - preferred
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- PALs preferred
