The night time traveling superintendent position will represent the company on assigned job sites. Responsible for delegating work and ensuring successful completion of the timeline established for each assigned project. Also, responsible for communicating with the Project Manager issues that arise with the project and accurately reporting on progress throughout the job. Minimum Requirements:
· Construction Management degree or minimum 3 years of relevant construction experience. Management experience a plus
· Must be willing to travel all year on a weekly basis. Weekends Home!
· Open Remodel / Retail experience preferred
· Must be comfortable working as part of a diverse team, which includes construction and non-construction personnel
· Be an excellent communicator and well organized
· Be a leader that does the right thing, regardless of who is watching
· Computer literate
· Valid Driver license

Major Responsibilities/Activities:
· Follows the construction process to ensure that it is completed in time
· Being on site to oversee all the construction process; Supervises employees, the subcontractors and ensures that they are punctual and that they deliver, and a general inspection of the workers and their performance and safety
· Ensuring that the budget is followed and maintained in terms of purchases and wages, and the quality is preserved in the construction process.
· General inspection of the workers and their performance and safety
· Coordinate with employees, onsite client employees, client representatives and government inspectors on the standard requirements of the site in terms of licenses and safety. Ensuring that the health and safety project plans are implemented and that the stipulated safety rules and regulations are met
· Daily field reports and pictures as required by the client
· Close out punch list and final inspections
· De-mobilization from the site
Essential Physical Functions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee frequently is required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and walk for long periods of time; use hands to handle or feel; and reach, lift, pull and push with hands and arms. The employee will be required to periodically lift up to 40lbs above their head and 50lbs at a dead lift. The employee will be required, on a regular basis, to climb/use an extension ladder and work above 15 feet comfortably.
Equipment Used:
This job operates on a commercial construction job site. This role routinely uses standard construction equipment such as power tools, hand tools, phones, ladders, Powered Industrial Equipment, and other basic tools.
Additional Comments:
The employee may be exposed to any environmental condition due to the nature of this position. The employee may be exposed to temperatures ranging from over 100 degrees to below freezing. The employee will be exposed to loud noise, vibrations, and other hazards on the job site. However, we work to our best abilities to ensure that all safety guidelines are followed, and proper protective equipment is provided. The employee may also be exposed to certain atmospheric condition that could affect the respiratory system such as fumes, odors, dust, etc. It is very important that the employee follows all safety training provided and use the proper protective equipment provided to them.
