INTERIM SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

INTERIM SENIOR ACCOUNTANT RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
- Partner with FP&A and business leaders to track budgets and provide operational insights.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
- Support operational accounting processes such as AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and expense accruals.
- Assist with external audit and tax engagements, including preparation of schedules and coordination with external advisors.
- Participate in system/process improvements across the finance function.
- Contribute to ad hoc analysis and projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
- Minimum 3–7 years of operational accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP; experience in corporate or public accounting environments.
- Background in industries such as technology, SaaS, life sciences, manufacturing, or professional services a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar) preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
