\n\nJob Requirements / Qualifications\n

- At least 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)\n
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (NMTCB or ARRT(N) preferred)\n
- State-specific licensure/certification as required for Texas travel assignments\n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary radiology and healthcare team\n
- Strong communication, patient-care, and organizational skills\n
- Current BLS certification preferred\n
- Experience with SPECT and PET imaging is a plus for nuclear medicine technologist jobs\n
\n\nPrimary Responsibilities\n

- Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures while following radiation safety protocols\n
- Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images (examples: gamma cameras, SPECT, PET/CT)\n
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout imaging procedures\n
- Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and quality assurance logs for nuclear medicine studies\n
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare staff to deliver high-quality patient care\n
- Participate in scheduling, patient preparation, and post-procedure processing to support clinical workflow\n
