RN Nurse Manager Med Surg
- Medical Unit: Medical-Surgical (Med Surg)
- Location: Lake Worth C
- Schedule: Onsite | Full-time, Days (No Weekends) | Salaried management role with 24/7 unit responsibility
- Salary: $38.52 $53.70/hour, based on experience; potential sign-on bonus available case-by-case
The Client:
A leading network of medical facilities and stand-alone hospitals operates a national system and is seeking a passionate clinical/critical care nursing professional with experience managing a medical surgical unit or similar acute care units in support of hospital operations.
With strong internal support (including CNCs) and a direct reporting line to the Director of Nursing, this is a strategic hire aimed at continuing growth and patient-centered innovation across its well-established service lines.

This leadership role is ideal for a nurse with acute care experience and a talent for team-building. Youll be responsible for ensuring clinical excellence, optimizing resource utilization, managing staffing and scheduling, and creating an environment where continuous learning and high-quality care thrive. As the nurse manager, you will play a vital role in shaping care delivery and staff engagement while acting as a clinical mentor and strategic resource to the unit. This position offers meaningful career growth in a hospital recognized for specialty certifications and excellence in care. Day-to-day duties include leading, upholding, mentoring and growing with a team of junior nursing staff and experienced med-tech staff within a 35+-bed unit.
Qualifications:
- Current Florida RN license or Compact Licensure with FL eligibility
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- BLS & ACLS (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in an acute care setting (Charge RN, CNC, or Nurse Manager level)
- Solid understanding of Med Surg workflows and clinical operations
- Strong decision-making and prioritization skills under pressure
- Proficiency in managing staff development, unit compliance, and patient safety
- Effective communicator with a proactive and hands-on leadership style
- Experience in a hospital system with off-site campuses is a plus
