We are looking for a detail-oriented General Office Clerk to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with organizational processes. Your contributions will play a vital role in streamlining operations and supporting the efficiency of our non-profit organization.
Responsibilities:
• Digitize and securely store approximately 800 Justice Center Code of Conduct forms by scanning them into a designated shared folder.
• Maintain accurate records of scanned forms in a spreadsheet and track receipt of signed forms.
• Follow up with managers to obtain missing or unsigned forms in a timely manner.
• Review employee records to verify active or inactive status based on organizational data.
• Organize active employee records alphabetically by company for streamlined access.
• Sort inactive employee records alphabetically by company to ensure systematic filing.
• Enhance operational efficiency by updating and organizing employee filing systems.
• Provide back-office support to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Collaborate with team members to address any discrepancies in record management.
• Proven experience in scanning and digitizing documents with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills for sorting and maintaining records efficiently.
• Proficiency in data entry and spreadsheet management.
• Ability to follow up professionally to ensure compliance with required documentation.
• Familiarity with back-office operations and filing systems.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with managers and team members.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
