Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathologists
- Previous experience in school-based settings highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and effective collaboration with educational teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals in coordination with educators and families
- Provide direct therapy using a variety of evidence-based techniques, individually and in small groups
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust interventions as needed
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication needs within the classroom environment
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
