We are looking for a highly organized Payroll Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Holland, Ohio. This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and an understanding of payroll processes, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The role will involve handling payroll tasks, assisting with administrative projects, and ensuring employee inquiries are promptly addressed. The project is expected to last 4 to 5 months.


Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage the payroll tracker to ensure accuracy and timely updates.

• Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and other administrative matters.

• Provide administrative support for various projects as assigned.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth payroll operations.

• Utilize Excel and other Microsoft Office applications to create reports and analyze data.

• Assist in maintaining compliance with payroll policies and procedures.

• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing concerns and resolving issues efficiently.

• Background in bookkeeping or accounting is preferred; basic payroll knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Experience working in a plant or industrial environment is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Office, and Outlook; advanced Excel skills are an advantage.
• Strong multitasking abilities to handle various tasks simultaneously.
• Previous experience in customer service roles is required.
• Excellent written communication skills are a plus.
• Familiarity with payroll systems such as Kronos or similar platforms is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
