Job DescriptionSalary:

Cook Hospital is seeking a casual Radiologic Technologist, position requires availability for once-a-month coverage for weekend on-call shift according to casual tech schedule availability. Hospital is stroke/trauma certified and requires a 15-minute call range. Department has a call room with cable, WIFI, rocker/recliner, microwave, and refrigerator. Meals are provided by hospital. Tech must be CT proficient and will also perform X-rays and EKGs as needed. Cook hospital has state of the art equipment, all upgraded in the last 3 years:

  • CT scanner Canon Aquilion Prime SP
  • X-ray Carestream Digital Ascend Room and Revolution Portable
  • EKG QT Medical for ER primary with Mortara ELI 280 as backup

Compensation Details


Base Pay Rate:

  • Radiologic Technologist I: $29.26 - $37.62 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Radiologic Technologist II: $30.17 - $38.81 per hour (depending on experience)
    (Eligible for Rad Tech II rate after successful completion of the probationary period and able to take call without assistance)

Additional Certification Pay:

  • Earn an extra $1.25 per hour for your first additional Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) certification
  • Earn another $1.25 per hour for your second additional Rad Tech certification

Thats up to $2.50 per hour in additional pay for holding two extra certifications!
