- Provides clinical pharmacy services in an outpatient/retail-based hospital setting, reviewing and verifying medication orders for appropriateness, dosing, frequency, allergies, and potential drug interactions.
- Performs kinetic drug dosing and medication monitoring to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
- Oversees pharmacy technicians in dispensing medications and IV solutions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state/federal regulations.
- Collaborates with physicians and nursing staff on therapy management, consults on drug selection and safety, and participates in medication reconciliation.
- Documents interventions, provides patient education as needed, and supports quality assurance initiatives.
Requirements:\n\nBachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD – required\nMinnesota Pharmacist license – active, required\nOutpatient/Retail or Ambulatory Pharmacy experience – required\nEpic Willow proficiency preferred
