Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine clinical tasks to support and assist medical staff
Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vitals
Input patient data into patient's electronic medical record
Relay messages from provider to patient via phone

Qualifications:

Possess critical thinking skills
Previous experience in healthcare or related medical field
Ability to work as a team player
Professional appearance and demeanor
High School diploma, some college preferred
Experience and knowledge of Athena software preferred
Knowledge of basic medical terminology
Dependable, excellent attendance

Company DescriptionDel Pilar Medical & Urgent Care is a family practice and urgent care center. We have three physicians and two Physician Assistants, on-site x-ray, ultrasound and Clia-waived lab. We are currently open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9 - 6 and 9 - 2 on Wednesday and Friday.
