Foley Mansfield is seeking a creative, tech-savvy Legal Marketing Coordinator to elevate the firm’s brand presence, digital engagement, and market visibility. This role is ideal for a marketing professional who thrives at the intersection of technology, storytelling, and strategic communications. The role will partner with and report directly to the Marketing and Business Development Director.

Your partnership with the Marketing and Business Development Director will play a key role in strengthening the firm’s public profile through compelling content, digital strategy, award submissions, and thought leadership initiatives. Opportunity for growth within the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily management and enhancement of the firm’s website using WordPress, including updates to attorney bios, practice descriptions, news/insights, publications, SEO/AEO and the development of additional content pages.
  • Develop visually engaging marketing materials using Canva and other design tools.
  • Lead and execute the firm’s social media strategy, including content planning, drafting, posting, and analytics tracking.
  • Draft, edit, and refine marketing copy and pitch materials, including practice overviews, attorney biographies, client alerts, announcements, and thought leadership content.
  • Partner with Marketing Department to prepare submissions for legal rankings, directories, and award applications.
  • Support public relations initiatives, including press releases and media outreach.
  • Manage firm digital assets such as logos, photography, and branded templates.
  • Collaborate directly with attorneys to identify and promote case successes, publications, and speaking engagements.
  • Prepare graphic design elements for various departments across the firm as time allows.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen brand awareness and visibility in key markets.
  • Liaise with outside marketing vendors, as necessary.
  • Assist with other marketing and business development activities, as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of marketing experience; law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with attorneys and leadership.
  • Ability to work independently to make intelligent, informed decisions.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Solid project management skills, business acumen and ability to understand marketplace trends.
  • Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms, in particular LinkedIn.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience in preparing award and directory submissions preferred.
  • Knowledge of public relations best-practices preferred.

Technology Skill Set

  • Proficiency in WordPress required.
  • Strong Canva or similar design platform expertise.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Power Point required.
  • Working knowledge of SEO/AEO application a plus.
  • Interest, experience and openness to working with AI marketing technology.
