Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract opportunity is for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) ready to provide exceptional care in a Medical-Surgical unit. The position requires dedication to patient well-being and adaptability to varying schedules in a supportive healthcare environment.
Qualifications:
- Current Tennessee RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience; ideally 2 years on a Medical-Surgical floor
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records system, including charting via Merge and PowerChart
- Ability to work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled
- Flexibility to float between units as needed

Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care maintaining a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Accurately document patient information and updates using Cerner EMR
- Adhere to all clinical protocols to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
- Participate in patient education and support families during care transitions
Schedule:
- Day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Must be able to work every other weekend and holiday
- No call and no block scheduling
- Maximum time off allowed between shifts is 1 week
