Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for an experienced imaging professional skilled in cardiovascular invasive procedures, working within an acute care setting. This contract position offers a chance to apply specialized expertise in a dynamic catheterization laboratory environment.

Location: Olympia, WA

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • On-call responsibilities included

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scrub and monitor during cardiovascular invasive procedures in the cath lab and electrophysiology (EP) lab
  • Document procedural details accurately and thoroughly
  • Support interventions such as right and left heart catheterizations, structural heart cases including TAVR and mitral clip procedures
  • Assist with insertion and management of circulatory assist devices like IABP and Impella
  • Collaborate with the care team to provide patient support during sedation and phase 1 recovery

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of two years of experience as a cardiovascular invasive specialist in cath lab and EP settings
  • Certified Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) with current ACLS, ARRT, and BLS certifications
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
  • Experience caring for patients undergoing complex procedures including structural heart interventions
  • Knowledgeable in sedation protocols and recovery phases; ICU or PACU experience is advantageous

Care Setting:Acute care environment handling complex cardiovascular patients requiring specialized intervention and monitoring.
