We are currently seeking a Helicopter Pilot to deliver medical air transportation services to our valued clients. Safety is a fundamental aspect of our operations!
This job listing is for several Visual Flight Rules (VFR) positions, and we have numerous other openings available. By submitting your application here, you can select your preferred location for consideration.
Please note that this role is not for Float Pilots.
Compensation
- Starting Salary Range: $87,019 - $95,720
- Geographic modifier of up to 27%, based on location
- Sign-on Bonus: $15,000
- Retention Bonus: $40,000 after three years
- On-duty housing available at most locations
- 7/7 work schedule at many locations
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of medical professionals to ensure safe transport of patients to and from various facilities.
- Prepare the aircraft for flight dispatches in accordance with relevant manuals, including all FAR and organizational requirements, as well as maintaining aircraft cleanliness.
- Keep accurate records and documentation for MTC and regulatory compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
- Provide shift change information to the incoming pilot and team, following established protocols for recording details on the change board.
- Maintain all required certifications and participate in ongoing training.
Minimum Qualifications (VFR Position)
- Current FAA Commercial Certificate for Rotorcraft
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- 2,000 total flight hours
- 1,500 helicopter flight hours
- 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in helicopters
- 1,000 turbine helicopter hours
- 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided or unaided)
